From November 1-4, Pacific Union College welcomed 300 guests for their annual College Days.

This included students from Calexico Mission School, Central Valley Christian Academy, Fresno Adventist Academy, Glendale Adventist Academy, La Sierra Academy, Lodi Adventist Academy, Monterey Bay Academy, Mountain View Academy, Napa Christian, Newbury Park Adventist Academy, Pine Hills Adventist Academy, PUC Prep, Rio Lindo Adventist Academy,  Sacramento Adventist Academy, and a church group from Costa Mesa.

PUC Campus Visit Coordinator Andrianna Massena organized College Days for the third year, focusing on the feedback her team received in the past years and finding more ways to showcase campus life.

Over the weekend, students had the opportunity to mingle during vespers and Afterlite, hear from PUC Chaplain Arturo Lopez during Sabbath School, hike in the Back 40, attend and participate in sporting events, explore St. Helena, and much more. PUC students ensured the visiting academies were welcomed and immersed in campus life. They hosted a Fall Fest and later, continued to socialize with other academy students during PUC’s version of “The Amazing Race,” where they explored campus landmarks and were rewarded with a waffle dessert bar as a late-night snack.

As the PUC campus started a new week of school, academy students chose two classes to attend that focused on their interests or potential majors. According to Massena, students especially loved aviation. At the gym, PUC departments such as athletics, student involvement, and the Student Success Center held service sessions to showcase PUC’s programs.

Massena received wonderful feedback from students, parents, and academy faculty, sharing their gratitude for an enjoyable weekend.

PUC’s next College Days will be October 31-November 3, 2025. This event is open to anyone interested, whether from a public high school, local academy, or church group. Academies that attend yearly will be sent registration forms next August, and others interested can email visit@puc.edu. Registration for College Days will close on October 13, 2025.

As a PUC alum and visiting coordinator, Massena shared that high school students should consider PUC for how they will be cared for academically and spiritually. "If they want to have a home away from home, PUC is the place to give that to them," said Massena. “Truly, the way this campus cares about each other is invaluable. You won’t find another campus that has professors, staff, and students who connect in the way people at PUC do.
