An extraordinarily diversified and skillful artist, Mira works and teaches in several media—oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolor, and graphics. Her work demonstrates both her sensitivity to nature and a deep felt affinity for color in both mood and expression. She exhibits widely in the Bay Area and is represented in collections both in the United States and in Europe.

Reception held until 9 p.m.; exhibit runs through November 5.

As soloist, concertmaster, and chamber musician, Dr. Rachelle Berthelsen Davis has toured Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, China, and Southeast Asia, as well as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, performing in such prestigious venues as the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, the Royal Opera House, the Cathedrals of Notre Dame, and at Town Hall in Cape Town. She is the director of the PUC Chamber Orchestra, teaches violin and viola, and serves as chair of the department of music.

PUC alum Dr. Beverly Wesner-Hoehn has performed worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mondavi Center, World Harp Congress, Adventist Musicians Guild, and International Harpweek in Holland. Her discography includes 12 professionally produced albums.

Unless otherwise specified, community events at Pacific Union College are free of charge. Donations of $10 are gratefully accepted at all Fine Art Series events.
