The PUC Career and Counseling Center provides the campus with career counseling, personal counseling, and testing services. We endorse a holistic approach in working with students by facilitating the integration of the emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual qualities of the individual. We believe that each person is a child of God and is created with a purpose and mission in life. It is our goal to assist each individual client, regardless of race, creed or gender, to work toward reaching his/her potential academically, personally, interpersonally, spiritually and occupationally.
Our career counselor is available to discuss career options, self-assessment, values, skills, interests, goals and job-seeking strategies. We also have resources to help students develop effective interview skills and write resumes and applications letters. Recruiters from professional schools, businesses, industries, technological firms and other organizations visit PUC to interview graduating seniors for work opportunities.

Professional counselors are available at the Center for confidential individual sessions at no cost during regular hours. We offer short-term counseling, usually one to six sessions. Our staff provides students with a supportive, caring, and confidential environment.
The Center coordinates national testing, personality inventories, and occupational interest inventories.
The Center will not engage in counseling over the Internet or by e-mail, due to their unsecured nature. Appointments must be made by phone.
If you are concerned for the health or safety of a friend or classmate, or witness concerning behavior and/or incidents, please fill out the Care & Concern form. The appropriate offices on campus will be notified to provide support and resources. All reports are private and covered under FERPA.
