Duties

The Executive Assistant & Summer Groups Coordinator for Student Life supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the college. They are responsible for providing support to the Vice President for Student Life and assist in maintaining the Office of Student Life. Additionally they will provide administrative support to the Campus Ministries Office. The coordinator is responsible for providing oversight and global management for all main campus summer groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Executive support services to the Vice President for Student & Spiritual Life
    • Draft Letters, memos, prepare and edit campus publications
    • Maintain division interrelated filing systems
    • Assist in maintaining of the Student & Spiritual Life Office
    • Process travel authorizations, invoices, purchase requisitions and credit card statements
    • Train and supervise student employees
    • Work independently on assigned projects
    • Schedule, coordinate and prepare:
      • Annual activities calendars
      • Weekly Programs
      • Student Transportation
    • Maintain and supervise Community and Worship attendance program
    • Develop innovative solutions to increase efficiency.
    • Maintain ID card system and manage its process.
    • Create and review all global announcements.
  • Summer Groups
    • Coordinate visiting summer groups
    • Work with campus departments to support summer group needs
    • Maintain accounting of summer group expenses and assist in billing group
  • Provide support to Campus Ministries Office
    • Draft Letters, memos, prepare and edit campus publications
    • Maintain office filing systems
    • Assist in maintaining of the Campus Ministries Office
    • Process travel authorizations, invoices, purchase requisitions and credit card statements
    • Train and supervise student employees
    • Work independently on assigned projects
    • Manage Student Missions application process.

Desirable Qualifications

Education: Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in student life or related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excels in the collaboration of college aged students in a higher education atmosphere.

Compensation

Hourly; Commensurate upon degree and experience (plus denominational benefits depending upon qualifications and experience)
