Facilities Management Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting other Tradesmen
- Bidding on projects and jobs
- Carpentry / Construction
- Fabrication, installation, and repair of:
- Cabinetry / Counters
- Ceiling tiles
- Concrete
- Doors
- Floor Coverings (carpet, tile, vinyl, wood)
- Glass
- Partitions
- Roofs, Gutters, and Drains
- Stairs
- Wall coverings
- Windows / window coverings
- Following and enforcing safety regulations
- Gathering bids from outside contractors / vendors Planning and prioritizing jobs & projects
- Interpreting college policies and educating workers
- Machine and equipment set-up and operation
- Meeting deadlines
- Researching and selecting products
- Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality
- Record keeping
- Remodels
- Supervision and assigning tasks to carpentry tradespersons
- Supervision and management of contractors
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation
Hourly; $19.48 - $27.37 (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
