Duties

Reporting to the VP of Academic Administration, The Dean of the School of Arts, Humanities, and Professional Studies, and Chair of the Visual Arts Department, duties include and courses may include: teaching History of Western Art I & II, America in Art, Asia in Art, Women in Art, History of Film, Modern and Contemporary Art, Elements of Cinematic Storytelling, Senior Thesis Advising and Academic Advising. May include other courses in Film and Television production. Course load ranges from 34-38 hours per year with a full-time equivalent of 41-44 hours per year.

Desirable Qualifications

  • M.A. or M.F.A. degree
  • Ph.D. Preferred
  • Experience in teaching preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Compensation

Salary; Commensurate with experience (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
