Directions
Once you reach the Albion Field Station campus, continue driving to the end of the main road to the circular parking area near the river. You will check in with the Manager at the office nearest this parking area. Please follow the signs.
From the San Francisco Bay Area
- Head northbound on Interstate 101 until you reach Cloverdale (mileage varies)
- Take the Highway 128 northbound (Ft. Bragg-Mendocino) exit
- At the exit stop sign turn left and pass under I-101 (0.3 miles)
- Turn right on to Highway 128 northbound (55 miles)
- Highway 128 becomes Highway 1. Continue northbound. (4 miles)
- Turn right at Albion (0.1 miles)
- Turn left into the Albion market parking area and continue, following the signs to Albion Field Station (signs have the whale tail logo on them) (0.5 miles)
From Northern California
- Head southbound on Interstate 5 until you reach Williams (mileage varies)
- Take Highway 20 westbound toward Clear Lake (80 miles)
- Merge on to Interstate-101 northbound/Highway 20 westbound toward Willits (16 miles)
- Turn left on to Highway 20 westbound toward Ft. Bragg (33 miles)
- Turn left on to Highway 1 southbound toward Albion (15 miles)
- Turn left at Albion (0.1 miles)
- Turn left into the Albion market parking area and continue, following the signs to Albion Field Station (signs have the whale tail logo on them) (0.5 miles)
From Southern California
- Head northbound on Interstate 5 (mileage varies)
- Take Interstate 580 westbound (Tracy-San Francisco) exit (46 miles)
- Continue on I-580 westbound toward Oakland-San Francisco (20 miles)
- Continue on I-580 westbound toward Point Richmond-San Rafael (14 miles)
- Go on to Interstate 101 northbound (9 miles)
- Continue on I-101 northbound toward Eureka-Santa Rosa until you reach Cloverdale (62 miles)
- Take Highway 128 northbound (Ft. Bragg-Mendocino) exit
