Health Insurance Coverage Requirement

All US Citizen Students

As of 9/1/24, you are required to carry your own medical insurance while attending Pacific Union College. Your plan must cover emergent and non-emergent care and routine medical and mental health care in Napa Valley. If you do not currently carry insurance or your plan is not adequate, you should contact a broker of your choice or Covered CA.

Please submit a copy of your current coverage if you are a returning student. New/transfer students should submit their coverage with their submission of their completed Health Information Form. Please note that it is your responsibility to inform the Wellness Center if your plan changes or is dropped at any time during the school year.

All International Students

As of 9/1/24, you will be required to purchase the Student Health Advantage Plan with IMG. This plan is a United Health Care insurance product and must be individually purchased PRIOR TO LEAVING YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. A copy of the completion of this requirement should be sent to studentlife@puc.edu and attached to the submission of your completed Health Information Form.
